Pergo laminate flooring maintenance

Replace damp cleaning with dry cleaning methods. This provides environmental and economic benefits.
Dry mopping Remove loose dust and dirt by dry mopping with a microfiber mop (40-60 cm) or vacuuming.

Damp mopping

Damp mop the floor only when needed. Use All-round Floor Cleaner and Pergo mop cloth. Damp the mop cloth with warm water and All-round Floor Cleaner (mix 30 ml with 7 l water) or a neutral detergent. Use an environmental friendly natural detergent that has a low foaming effect and a pH value about 7. Mix carefully according to the manufacturer's instructions. Do not overdose. Used mop shall be washed according to labeling in 60°C without any additives. Do not work in larger areas than 15-20 m2 at a time. Make sure the floor is dry after damp mopping.

Wood maintenance

Oiled wood floors need regular maintenance to look their best. If you clean your floor on a weekly basis with Pergo cleaning products, you should use regular oil care  once a month. In addition to regular maintenance, it is recommended that you treat your wood floor with deep oil care once a year or whenever needed.

Vinyl maintenance

Pergo commercial vinyl floors and skirting boards are very easy to clean thanks to their sealed, hygienic surface layer. They are completely waterproof so you can clean them with a wet cloth.

Pergo Vinyl Clean for Pergo is specifically developed for Pergo floors. One single cleaning product takes care of the daily maintenance of your vinyl floor. It protects the Pergo scratch resistant coating and helps to preserve the original matt look of your floor.
