The floors in fitness rooms have to withstand a lot. When Fitness de Kaai in Kortrijk (Belgium) underwent a redesign, the carpet underneath the equipment was replaced with Pergo Original Excellence laminate.
The design featuring chalk-grey oak boards gives the room a modern and elegant appearance.
“In opting for this floor, we thought a lot about how we would maintain it. It gets a great deal of footfall, and good hygiene and ease of cleaning were essential requirements”, explains John Denys, the owner of de Kaai.
This laminate floor has an additional finish in the form of Aquasafe. This technology helps to ensure superior water resistance.
