October 2016 marked the grand opening of the first Vanden Borre Kitchen showroom in Drogenbos (Belgium). With many visitors coming in to have a look at the models combined with the company’s plan to renew their collection every two years, the floor gets put to the test. It has to withstand heavy use, should damp the sound of heels and should be easy to clean.

They chose Pergo laminate flooring because its scratch and stain-resistance ensures that the floor stays great-looking, no matter what happens. Finding a design that matches the variety of kitchen styles was a challenge made easy thanks to Pergo’s extensive offering. The team ultimately picked two designs: the Concrete Medium Grey laminate and the New England Oak laminate planks. Both floor designs not only fit the different styles of kitchens on display; they also go together like peaches and cream. Moreover, the concrete look completes the overall industrial concept of our showroom. As their experience with Pergo flooring is so good, they chose the same floors for their new showrooms in Gent and Kortrijk.
